Brian Sauer

A lifelong G.I. Joe fan and dedicated toy collector, Brian brings over 25 years of experience in advertising and graphic design to World War Hell. He’s an award-winning illustrator and packaging designer, known for his work on the Roboskull box and his ongoing contributions to Big Bad Workshop. Brian ran his own creative agency for a decade, helping launch and grow brands to national recognition. He’s also the founder and organizer of Assembly Required, the long-running G.I. Joe convention held annually in Des Moines. Passionate about community, storytelling, and bold design, Brian is thrilled to help bring World War Hell to life.
